Well, Caryn did it, or I guess Jim did it, or maybe it's just, they both did it! Anyway Caryn and Jim are now engaged. I can hardly believe that enough time has past in my life that this could be possible but I know we are in for a lot of fun times.

They were in Carmel and Big Sur for the weekend and on Saturday while standing on the cliff in Big Sur where rain was forecast for the day; at the appropriate time overlooking the ocean on one side, the snow capped mountains on the other, the clouds parted, the sun came out, a rainbow was born and Jim asked the question! Pretty amazing! Congratulations to both Caryn and Jim!

July 27, 2004

Caryn and Jim left this morning (4:30AM) for Central America for their one year excursion. Be sure to check out their travel page. They will be uploading pictures as they travel to our web site for us all to see. It will be really neat to see what they are doing almost as they are doing it.

Caryn's best girlfriend, Alyssa, got married on Santa Catalina Island in the Catalina Island Ballroom. Be sure to check out these pictures. It was a glamorous affair with all the trimmings. I hope Caryn doesn't get any ideas!

September 1, 2002

Caryn's moving again, this time to the new Bayside Village Apartments, at Embarcadero and Delancy Street, at the foot of the Bay Bridge and a block from Pac Bell Park and 1/2 block from the San Francisco Bay. Now she has Mo Mo's around the corner, the slanted door downstairs, and she can jog on the Embarcadero along the Bay. Life must be good with her new job.

We were looking forward to the bucket of beers at Pier 23 on the bay or Mo Mo's. But this moving every month has got to stop. She now has a year's lease so I can rest for a while and I will have time to dry out. (Update- She only stayed their 5 months and then sublet her apartment and moved again!)

June 29, 2002

Caryn's moving again, this time from North Beach to a storage locker (City Storage). We treated ourselves afterwards to a jaunt on the Embarcadero in SFO from Pac Bell Park to Fisherman's Wharf with travel stops along the way for thirst reasons (Gordon Beirsch, Pier 23. etc. Check out the pics.
