February 2003:

Dad visited with Nonie and we fixed refrigerators, installed deadbolts, mini blinds and electrical receptacles. Afterwards Dad took us to Buca di Beppo where we experienced some of the largest portion servings ever imagined in a wild and crazy atmosphere.

January 4, 2003:

Dad & Nonie, with a lot of help from Carol, Wyatt and Tristan threw a great Christmas celebration this year. We had a Christmas gift take away (its now our families' national sport) and nobody was hurt. The kids ran & ran, and then ran some more around the club house and I took pictures with my new camera to try and one-up myself from last year.

November 7-11, 2002:

All of Dad's kids surprised Dad with a trip to Las Vegas. He did not figure out the destination until he was in the air over California. Check out the gallery with all the pictures of the events and sites.

November 1-3, 2002:

Zdenka and I took Dad and Nonie to the Napa Valley Wine Country for his 80th birthday where we stayed at the Silverado Country Club. The fall weather was perfect, the leaves were changing and the sun was shining. Check out the gallery.

7/13/02: Rich's Birthday Party 2002 @ Shoreview Recreation Center

My brother, Rich, and his Wife, Anna, threw a birthday party w/ Mariachi's, and enough food, beer and wine for an army. His old-time friend, Patrick and wife came from Seattle for the bash. Anna is still trying to teach Rich how to dance. We took Lenka and Honsa, from Czechland, to show them what a Mexican party was really like.

Rich & Anna had a great turnout considering their competition was the Berlin Love Parade, which was attended by over 500,000 people on the same day.

7/6/02: 4th of July Party @ Lodi

Dad and Nonie worked for three months to present the first annual 4th of July Family Reunion Party in Lodi, California. Relatives came from as far as Colorado, but Boise, Idaho; Seattle, Washington; and Chico, California were also included. Relatives that we never met (for most of us) also attended. Other relatives (cousins and Aunts) I had not seen for 25 years and their children I have never met, also came to share their life happenings. The kids swam, everybody ate, and Dad and I  took pictures. It was great fun. Be sure to check out the pics.

Had a great Christmas party at the club house at Dad & Nonie's new house in Lodi. I took a lot of pictures of kids. The Christmas gift take-away was not too violent this year.
