9/30/02 Midwest National Parks

This trip included over 15 stops at various sites throughout the Midwest and encompassed the states of California, Utah, Colorado and Arizona and lasted almost three weeks. I was able to capture some great shots but definitely learned that I need to upgrade my camera (we met fellow photographers with newer and upgraded equipment that could capture shots that I couldn't).

4/30/02 France 2002

We had a great trip that kept unfolding more new wonders every day. Unfortunately, on the second to last day of our trip all of the pictures were stolen. Personally the pictures represented irreplaceable memories and events and some of my best efforts at photography over the two weeks we were there.

12/20/01 from Prague:

Went on our trip to Czechland for Christmas. On the way there we had a 5 hour stop in Amsterdam and had a chance to visit downtown Amsterdam. Even thought we only had a 5 hour layover we got to see a fair amount of Amsterdam. Check out the pics at Amsterdam December 2001.

By the time we got to Czechland and crashed we had gone over 28 hours without sleep (except for a catnap in the vertical position sitting at the Amsterdam airport).

I have updated the pics of Amsterdam from Czechland using WinXP remote desktop and FrontPage running on my home computer in Woodside. I first uploaded the prepared pics to my FTP site on my computer at home.

I will probably not do this again because it is just to slow to run FrontPage over a dial up connection. In the future I will probably just take my web site with me, update it on the road and then just publish it to the web server as we travel.

I have some new cool pics from Prague in the snow and from inside the church at Prague castle which they usually don't allow. I will upload them tomorrow.
