Went to the Pebble Beach Auto Show where Gary helped show a 1932 Aston Martin. The car was raced on Saturday, cleaned up Saturday night and shown on  Sunday and looked like it was just restored. Had a lot of fun eating at the Forge in the Forest, people watching at the auto show and researching the latest in Pebble Dogs (you have to see this to believe it). The cars this year were better than ever. Check out the Official Web Site and see who won. Be sure to view our pictures here. 11/11/01:Returned from our 9th (for us) annual wine country trip with friends. This year we went to Geyserville, in the the Alexander Valley area. Six couples participated this year. Completed great wine research, relaxed, ate, talked and took photographs for three straight days. This year many of the participants all took their digital cameras and our informal goal was for each person to take approximately 50 pictures using their own style and technique. I then integrated all of the pictures sorted by time and date stamp. 8/18/01: Attended the 50th Annual Concour's d Elegance at Pebble Beach. Gary took a car to a third place finish with surprising excitement up until the end. Went to the fashion show on Day one, crashed parties, and then there was the show on Sunday, and then more parties. As usual Zdenka becomes hard to  control. We had a great time meeting lots of new faces. Be sure to check out the pictures from both days of the event. |
